TikTok says more than 1 billion people use this app each month
Tiktok has gained one of the exclusive milestones in the technology industry.
The company said in a blog post on Monday that it now has more than 1 billion monthly active users worldwide.
Short-form video apps have grown in popularity because people spend more time on their phones during the Corona period, while people want to make a living by posting on social media sites.
The growth of this Chinese-owned app, which the Donald Trump administration wanted to shut down last year but could not, has already been banned in India and is seeking verification from European regulators on data protection practices and child protection
Monthly usage of the app in August increased by 25% compared to the same month last year said app store intelligence firm Sensor Tower.
While TickTick managed to draw more high-profile creators from Instagram and unique sites during the covid-19 period, TickTock launched 1 billion Create Fund last year to allow users to create content on the platform.
